Monday Prayer

Good morning Father! You woke us up! We come in Jesus name, by the Holy Spirit’s power and say thank you. Let your will be done! We give back to you our bodies, ourselves; please direct us. We give you our concerns, burdens, fears, worries, sickness, loneliness, depression, financial burdens and all that causes pause. Replace our desires of overeating, drug abuse, sexual perversion of any kind, mean spiritedness, arrogance and anger, with peace, and trust in you. Help us to trust, not just Your existence, but in your love for us; believing that You care about every aspect of our lives and are willing and able to take those issues on. Help us, somehow God to believe you exist, beyond a religion; that you are with each of us right now, today. Help us know you’re not just a loving God when all is well, but most especially when together, Sorrow and Suffering have been made our companions for a season. May we grow stronger, wiser, and filled with your love, and understanding of others, because of having the “twins” holding our hands and not letting go, until you know we’re ready. Order our thoughts and words. Let our words be filled with wisdom and spoken to encourage others; to make them smile, or laugh, and to impart knowledge. When we must give correction, let it be given, not to destroy, but to help in the process of healing. Help us to see people through eyes of love, even and especially those who are different than us, and yes, even those who have hurt us. May our obedience to you be drawn from the well of love. Help us to know you in such a way that we can’t help but love you, enough to trust you, enough to desire to obey. Today I say thank you. Today I say to your children, even me, “Go in peace, God loves you. Never give up, and Happy Monday!
